I stopped maintaining the WorkFlow Componets around 2014. Plasma 5 brought a new air in Activities and for me the new components and approach is more than enough. I dont know how much but I believe at a point the WorkFlow project helped a bit in demonstrating how Activities can make a user's life easier... :)
