Latte Dock v0.10~ is the development version of Latte which is going to land next summer as v0.10... Until then of course you can still enjoy it by building it yourself from Phabricator KDE or by searching in your distro repos if it is already built daily.
In that version a new interesting feature has landed, as the title says you can welcome OnDemand SideBars!

What Are OnDemand SideBars?
Sidebars are panels and docks that can be shown and hide only after user interaction from external sources. For example plasma applets, shortcuts and scripts. The video demonstrates also how that experience is improved by using the new vertical Stick Buttons to ignore any top or bottom panels
